Customer Rating: Summary: Stylish but not entirely functional Comment: When I saw these bags online, I was impressed by their style and reasonable price. I had needed such a bag for a while. However, this particular product exemplifies the dangers of buying merchandise online. While it lives up to its promise as a cool bag that I can feel good about wearing, it lacks in some important areas. First of all, the bag is made from a lightweight fabric -- I have a Levi's denim shirt of the same weight -- which makes it floppy and shapeless if I don't happen to have a flat, rigid item like a large book or binder within. This is a major drawback for me, as I am not a student. Secondly, the storage areas are not well thought out. There is one main compartment with a parallel divider, to keep books and papers separated, and another, smaller compartment attached to the front under the flap. This holds a fair amount of stuff, but has no smaller compartments within to help keep it organized. Some zipper pockets would have been nice. The outside of this compartment has a large number of small loops sewn on, which would be great if I needed easy access to ammunition, but is pointless for anything else -- except maybe an extensive pen collection. So, if you want a stylish and cool way to transport a few school books and not much else, you may want one of these. If you need more organization, keep looking, this bag is not for you.
