Customer Rating: Summary: Love it! Comment: When you love Indian food, but don't have the time to cook it, Kitchens of India is a really great alternative. I have yet to be disappointed in one of their dishes and this one is no exception. The great thing about Indian food is that they are mostly sauce (or "gravy" as they say), so I will cook up the meat or steam up some veggies and add one of these packets to make a fabulous meal. Their really aren't much in the way of veggies in these packets, but that is typical in Indian food, no matter where it comes from. American's tend to use gravy or sauce as the secondary component while Indian's use it as the primary component and sop it up with lots of bread or rice. By steaming or sauteing some additional vittles, you can really stretch one of these packets. Customer Rating: Summary: Very Good Comment: The pay bhaji tastes very good and is not very spicy. It makes a great quick meal with brown rice or a piece of naam bread. The sodium is somewhat high. Customer Rating: Summary: Tasty plus bonus Comment: I'm not sure how you can tell when you order but my order came with a CD of Indian music in all 12 packages! And, no they are not all the same... so bonus for gifts and mood music with your Indian dinners. Customer Rating: Summary: Mmmmmmm... Comment: I first had Pavv Bhaji in a little indian shop in Columbia, MD and enjoyed it there. This was almost an exact match for their recipie and has a wonderful texture and taste Customer Rating: Summary: tasty Comment: not as good as homemade, but a really good and relatively healthful meal. especially if you add rice and/or veggies and/or lentils as i usually do. adding this stuff not only increases health content but cuts down on saltiness as well.
