The Mag 9 features the same SPL (single pull loop) binding as the famed Gold 9 shoe including cam-locking buckles and secure gel polymer stirrups except the Mag uses an aluminum traction system for a lighter overall weight. Crescent Moon constructed the frame from welded magnesium instead of traditional aluminum, which shaved off nearly a pound. The TGS decking replaces PVC for reduced environmental impact.
